HIGHLIGHT
When he was composing Symphony No.10, Gustav Mahler faced a major personal crisis, having discovered his wife’s infidelity. Though emotionally shattered, he still dedicated the work to her. Unfortunately, two months into composition, Mahler’s condition worsened, ending his plans to complete the symphony. After his death, Alma reached out to a number of musicians to finish the work. This concert features British musician Deryck Cooke’s performing version.
