Violinist Angelina Lee was born in Tongyeong, Korea. She graduated from Seoul National University with a bachelor’s degree in Music majoring in violin. She also completed music education as a minor, and upon graduation earned a certificate of qualification as a music teacher in primary, middle and high schools. When Lee was in college, she performed as concert master of SNU Philharmonic Orchestra, as a guest member of the Korean National Symphony Orchestra led by conductor Hun-Joung Lim. In China, Lee performed as concert master with many maestros, including Long Yu, Lan Shui, Shao-Chia Lü, Chen Lin, Jiemin Zhang, En Shao, and others. Lee earned her master’s degree from The Tianjin Juilliard School, majoring in Instrumental and Orchestral Studies in 2022. With an intensive interest and passion in chamber music, she earned her second master’s degree as an Instrumental and Chamber Music Studies major from Tianjin Juilliard where she studied with Weigang Li and Wei He. In 2024, she was appointed as Associate Concertmaster of the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra.
